Taylor Swift has become the first woman to top the U.S. charts this year (17).

The singer’s new single Look What You Made Me Do has shot to number one on the Billboard Hot 100,breaking the weekly streaming record for a song by a woman and ending Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s record-tying 16-week run at the top of the countdown with Despacito.

Look What You Made Me Do, which is Taylor’s fifth number one in America, entered the chart at 77 last week on radio plays alone. The track’s 76-place jump is the fifth-greatest chart leap of all time.

Only Baauer’s 2012 hit Harlem Shake has posted a greater weekly streaming total than Swift’s new hit on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart, which launched in 2013.

Look What You Made Me Do also launches with the top weekly download sales this year (353,000) – 113,000 more than Taylor’s pal Ed Sheeran achieved when he debuted Shape of You in January (17).

Swift also passes chart rival Katy Perry on the Digital Song Sales chart with her 12th number one; Katy has 11.

Meanwhile, Despacito drops to two on the new chart.
