Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ is making waves on international shores as well. The overseas box-office collection of the film over the first four days of its release reads an approximate Rs 45.56 crore (USD 6.7 million approx.) with some screens and territories yet to report their figures. The figures for Sunday have not yet been disclosed.
After a run of four days at the cinema halls, the region-wise collection was as follows:

The film collected Rs 93.24 crore in the first five days in the domestic market. Taking into account the overseas collections, the film’s worldwide tally stands at a whopping Rs 138.8 crore.
‘Raees’ has been widely appreciated across all strata, with audiences still rushing to catch the film. Shah Rukh and co-actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s performances are being widely lauded – while SRK plays Raees Alam in the film, Nawazuddin essays the role of a tough-as-nails cop who is out to put an end to Raees’ criminal activities. The action-drama, which has been directed by Rahul Dholakia, is being commended for its depiction of a prohibition-era Gujarat.
