Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shri Niraula and Nirmal Sharma’s cooperation that started from ‘Tito Satya’ continued for 15 years. They jointly made hit films like ‘6 Ekan 6′, Wada No.6’ and ‘Chhakka Panja’. But now their team up has been broken.
Nirmal Sharma who worked in ‘Chhakka Panja’ as executive producer with Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shri Niraula, was supposed to collaborate with them again for its sequel. But now we heard that he isn’t involved in the much anticipated sequel. Not only Nirmal, Sita Ram Kattel aka Dhurmus who was their partner in Deepak and Deepa’s all previous three movies, has also left the sequel.
When we contacted, Nirmal confirmed their separation but didn’t reveal much. “Yes, I’ve done films individually in past, Deepak and Deepa ji have also worked individually. We all have rights to work independently. I want to do my works severally. I’ve huge respect towards Deepak and Deepa ji. They are my Gurus. I also have lots of wishes for them,” he said.
Cinematographer Purushottam Pradhan and music composer Rajanraj Sivakoti also have been replaced in its sequel. ‘Chhakka Panja 2’ will have Dirgha Gurung’s cinematography while ‘Surke Thaili’ and ‘Purba Pacchim Rail’ fame Kiran Kandel has come on board as music director. The film will go on floors this month.
